Seville is the capital and largest city of the Spanish autonomous community of Andalusia and the province of Seville. It is situated on the lower reaches of the River Guadalquivir, in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula. Some cities blast you away, others slowly win you over. Seville disarms and seduces you. Its historic centre, lorded over by a colossal Gothic cathedral, is an intoxicating mix of resplendent Mudéjar palaces, baroque churches and winding medieval lanes. Flamenco clubs keep the intimacy and intensity alive. Seville is one of the better Spanish beer cities with 3/4 brewpubs (May 2022) to start your beer tour of the city.
Cervezas Rio Azul, Lana 6
Located a bit out of the centre of the city, about 50 minutes walk from the town square. But well worth it! Jorge & Felix are super cool and so accommodating providing friendly impeccable service. A nice brewery with a beer hall (taproom). Top notch quality beers served from 8 taps mostly their own brews but a couple of guest beers, that and tasty tapas at extremely reasonable prices, you can't ask for more? A beautiful venue the brew kit to the back and then the bar and bench tables and chairs in the drinking area. A few colourful mural on the wall's help create a cool vibe, it's perfect to go with a group of friends or just to hang out by the bar. Otto says, definitely a must visit in Seville if you love craft beer! 🤩
Maquila Bar (SON Brewing Co), Calle Delgado 4
A nice little brewery tap / gastro pub that always seems busy. Spanish craft beers on tap (half their own (Son Brew CO) and half other Spanish artisanal). Also a small but interesting bottle selection. The food is pretty awesome. The new style Spanish tapas has definitely hit the craft bars in Sevilla. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Otto says a place where the geek will feel at home? 🙃
Guadalquibeer, Calle Carpinteros 34
An exceptional microbrewery with great prices. I strongly recommend the guided visit that you can book online or Groupon. Beltrán, the master brewer is a real character and will make the experience of the guided tour and tasting real fun!! It also offer's one-day brewing workshops.👊🏽
Hecatombe Brewing Co. Calle Manuel Villalobos 37
An artisanal craft brewery, with a cool "gothic"💀 vibe going on with the brewery artwork. Producing some really tasty modern beers. Tours by arrangement in advance.
Hidromiel Valhalla, Calle Maestre Angulo 6
A Viking "Mead" brewery producing 4 exceptional different meads. A very same place but the guys are really friendly and the mead is very tasty. Well worth seeking out for something completely different.
Lebana Cerveza Artesanal, Sevilla, Spain
A very new 2020 micro brewery sadly no details know at the moment?
La Jeronima, Calle Jeronimo Hernandez 14
A very cosy place with a good atmosphere, run by two very friendly girls, who between books and beers share their living room with the clientele! It's a cool cafe/bar that doubles as a book store. They have around 40 bottled beers, most, if not all, from Andalusia, and three taps, one fixed with the Zurda and two rotary ones with brands such as Dougalls, Napar, Brewdog and Siren. Super friendly service and jazz playing softly on the stereo create a cool vibe. Otto says, a very quaint and quirky craft beer place with a cool local neighbourhood vibe, very chilled out.😊
Bier Kraft, Calle Correduría 35
A large modern corner restaurant/bar in Seville, with 21 beer taps to choose from plus bottled beer and cans and the signature cocktails make this bar one of the best. Good International food menu a perfect combination to spend pleasant moments in the company of family and friends. Otto says, Probably one of the best watering holes in Sevilla for those of us suffering from RBHD (Repetitive Beer Hunting Disorder)😜
Hops & Dreams, Calle Jesús del Gran Poder 83
A bar well worth a hour or two of your time. A cool selection of a locally brewed craft ales from the 12 taps, with a huge 50+ selection of bottles. Inside it's a quirky mix of hipster and grannies living room! Good friendly and knowledgeable service. Good rock music on the stereo provides a great vibe. The menu comprises a mix of tapas, sandwiches, salads and cheese/meat platters. Otto says, an essential bar to visit in the city. 👍🏻
Cerveceria Internacional, Gamazo 3
A centrally located bar that is very popular with the locals. Chose from 14 taps with European lagers & beers, plus a list of 400 bottled beers from around the world, as you'd expect a lot of macro's with a few gems from Belgium and a handful full from Spain including half dozen from local Hetacombe. Lots of beer memorabilia on the walls and old style bar vibe, though it's completely outdated beer wise, it’s still a nice place to grab a beer with your mates.
La Linterna Ciega, Calle Regina 10
A nice modern craft cafe located a 2-min walk from the Metropol Parasol, north of the centre, just behind the weird wooden mushroom. Not a very extensive, but a quality selection of craft beer, with some nice local choices. The food is really good, they serve a creative modern tapas and the flavours are really good. Nice friendly staff with knowledge of the beers they serve. Kudos for playing weird power metal. A cool place.
La Mia Tana, Calle Perez Galdos 24
The first ristorante pizzeria to get on craft beer, a good selection of 20 beers. An extensive menu of Italian food, and tex mex. The service is very good and the value for money is good. One not to miss.
VIRIATO Guevara & Lynch, Calle Madre María de la Purísima 7
A nice and brightly-lit bar in the city centre, with a decent selection of craft beer of Spanish and International craft beer. They have a tasty food menu.
Abacería Antípodas, Calle Manuel Chaves Nogales
A great little corner tapas bar with a small but excellent selection of craft beers and wines. Extremely reasonable prices.
Bar Juan Carlos, Calle Febo 6
A small cafe/bar, 8 beer taps and a good selection of bottles, good cheese tapas.
Lartesana, Calle Recaredo 35
A bar with a decent selection of beers. Good Spanish craft beers (Dougall’s, Naparbier) and some international rarities.
Mr Beer, Calle Vermondo Resta
A simple little boozer at the end of the tram line. The road for the pub is straight across and the pub is on the corner Sevilla. The selection is a bit weak, with Lleffes, Erdingers and all those nice commercial beers. Also, some Spanish artesanal beers which is interesting. Nice and cosy, full of locals and good cheer. What more do you need?
Gourmet Experience, Plaza del Duque
A Penthouse-terrace in the center of Seville with good views of the city with a small selection of Belgian beers.
32GreatPower, Calle Mercedes Barris
A fantastic little bottle shop. You can consume in the shop (they have a couple of taps). Best selection by far in Seville. The prices seem to lean a tad expensive, except if you are purchasing at the highest rarerity end of the spectrum, and then the prices actually seem a tad low! The owner is super friendly and speaks English quite well. An absolute must if you are looking for something unique in Seville.
Beershooter Sevilla, Calle Chapineros 4
A small but fairly well stocked shop. Very centrally located bottle shop, with helpful staff. A choice of 20+ locally brewed craft beers, plus about 30 or so from the States, Belgium & UK. They have a couple of taps for filling growlers and you can even sit and drink and have tapas at the back of the shop. Not the easiest to find, being on a cross street in between couple of very small lanes just north of the cathedral, but well worth the effort!
Tarico, Calle Amor de Dios 14
A friendly store heading into the north of the city centre. Lots of local products cheese and bread (mmmm), including a nice selection of 25+ local craft beers both on the shelves and (most important, if you're desperate for a quick "tick" or two) in the fridge. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Fresca Viva y Artesana, Castellar 62
